Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid was an Iraqi-born British architect who was known for her beautiful deconstructivist designs that seem to defy the laws of physics, and for shattering gender stereotypes in the architecture industry. Hadid believed in the “power of invention.” She worked hard to break many boundaries and obstacles for women in architecture. We wanted this exhibition to bring her architectural design style, thought process, and personality as a complete package to the visitor. Her buildings are located all over the world from Zurich to Hong Kong, so to bring a piece of her work to a city that is unknown to her art, and specifically to school campus, is central to expand her impact and inspire the design community.
